How do we make it easier to get vital child protection know-how? This was the challenge from NSPCC, who asked us to improve user experience on the NSPCC Learning website – to encourage more people to find out about and book the courses they offer.
Our first step was to identify areas for improvement, using Google Analytics, heat maps and user testing carried out by NSPCC. This was followed up by a stakeholder workshop, to help us understand the organisation’s priorities and future objectives. This led to a full website redesign with a number of new user-friendly features – from a handy filter tool to help people find courses matching their needs, to a streamlined booking process.
At the same time, we created a landing page for NSPCC’s research and resources library, putting additional information at users’ fingertips – creating just another way to keep more children safe.
