Everyone loves a freebee – even charity supporters. So when VSO’s regular giving leads started to wane, we helped them reach a new pool of supporters with a free tote bag with a message aligned to VSO’s cause.
Social media was the perfect place to target the right people quickly and affordably – and we tested the offer across Facebook, Instagram and Google (Gmail and Search).
Respondents were asked for a phone number to arrange delivery and to pave the way for a conversation about supporting VSO. The initial burst led to a phenomenal 3,000 leads – and since then we’ve used our learnings to optimise further acquisition. With a sizeable new pool of potential supporters for VSO and a fab new tote bag for respondents, everyone’s a winner!
